Dzidedi Future Leaders Academy is a private basic school located in Ho, Dave in the Volta region of Ghana. The school starts from Crѐche to stage 9 and has met all the requirement of the Ghana Education Service. From its humble beginning in 1st September, 2015, the school started with a total enrollment of 20 pupils and 5 facilitators with concrete classrooms. Dzidedi Future Leaders Academy was established by MR. AGBANYO FELIX DZIDEDI who is a professional teacher and was a head of Department for Mathematics and Science and also a house father at Have Technical Institute for over 10 years at that time. The vision to establish Dzidedi Future Leaders Academy saw the light of day as a result of community need since is the first to be established in the community. EARLY DEVELOPMENT Dzidedi Future Leaders Academy had its first headteacher as Mad. Afetsu Juliet who headed the school for six (6) good years and eventually had an engagement with VRCC, Ho. She has a successor in the person of Miss Sablah Stella Akos who is a professional teacher and pivoted the success and development of the school to now. EARLY CHALLENGES AND SOLUTION Dzidedi Future Leaders Academy was bedeviled with water problem since in the early days Ghana waters was not extended to that part of the community. However, we managed as a school to have a mechanized borehole that put to rest water problems. Motorable road to the school in those early days was another serious problem since access to the school by vehicular means was a problem as well as security treats especially in the raining season. GROWTH AND EXPANSION The school grew in all aspect such as construction of a 3 story building classroom currently used as assembly hall and classrooms. The school as of today has a total enrollment of 510 pupils and over 34 teaching and non – teaching staff. Dzidedi Future Leaders Academy also has boarding for the past 5 years. The school runs extra curricular activities such as various sporting discipline arts, clubs, choir, UCMASS etc. Dzidedi Future Leaders Academy is noted for its discipline hence has nurtured a lot of leaners who are majorly in the Universities and Polytechnics with others in the Training colleges and Nursing Training schools.
